Must ask GP to sort my medication out!

It's almost overflowing the box! One of my blood pressure tablets I have two 10mg tablets, but they are made in 20mg. The big problem, though is my pregabalin (Lyrica). The doctor wanted to start slowly, so I had one 25mg tablet twice a day - fine. Two weeks later, double up - OK. Two weeks later I have four 25mg tablets twice a day - this is getting a bit of a joke! Wednesday week - double again - still given 25mg capsules! I'm just hoping that when I see the psychiatrist she will prescribe 50 or 100mg capsules! I know this is horrendously expensive, but I would imagine that, as less packaging is required, the stronger capsules would be more cost-effective - and less embarrassing if I have to take them in public.

I hope they can sort that for you. It's not nice having to take so many tablets at a time.

I remember a similar situation with some that I took and the dose was upped gradually! Hope you can get it sorted out!

Yes thank you - this week I had a prescription for one 200mg capsule twice daily, rather than 8 25mg ones!

I ask Peter to look after my medication so I only have a little at a time.

I think that is the best way. At one time I asked a friend to mind mine, but it's hard when you live alone.

I just order what I need, use as prescribed so never have much in the house. And keep them in a separate room from where I normally am in so have to go and get the next packet etc so out of sight.

I used to struggle years ago with medication but thankfully that is no longer an issue. I find it more of an issue to remember to take everything, especially inhalers which I need!!

Great tablets in better size Ann, that sounds more sensible.
