Congrats Curlywurly!!
Trying not to laugh at your dogs Hash, but I love spaniels/all dogs and can imagine them wagging their tales as you told them off and mournful eyes.

Managed to tell Pastor that when he made a comment saying that I'm not being silly and self harming anymore it was unhelpful and hurt me as it is not silly and I am trying to work on the things that cause me to harm.

He was really please I told him. Now I just got to get him to hear me when I say that I sometimes get angey at God and want to scream at him why without the Pastor going of into a sermon. Have told him before but he just started talking about it without really listening and so I stopped listening to him as what he was saying wasn't helpful.

My Mum had a detached retina 3 weeks ago. I trekked out yesterday from London to Essex after a really tough therapy session to be with her this w/e. When I got to her door she said she had more 'floaters' in her eye and some twiggy bits in one part (very typical sign of detachment. She muttered about seeing how things went for next couple of days, but I decided we'd better go to Moorfields where she had the op done. So back on buses and trains to London to the A&E there.

Such good doctors, thorough eye check and Mum was told they can't see any problems - just normal healing process.

And I'm so thankful to God that the healing is progressing. It wasn't a wasted journey even tho it was exhausting, cos Mum's not worrying about it all w/e.

My friend took me to three shops today - snow clearing. If the ice doesn't disrupt the trains, the retreat for the weekend is on.
